Whilst on a training exercise our volunteers spotted a fisherman who was cut off by the tide on a rocky outcrop near Ogmore By Sea with just over an hour until high water. Unfortunately he hadn’t added the hour for BST to the tide times and got caught out. A crew member swam to the rock to provide assistance to the casualty as waves were washing over the rock. The crew of the boat veered back on the anchor line and brought the boat alongside the rock in order to rescue him.
