UK Coastguard requested the launch of our D Class lifeboat to 2 persons with an inflatable lilo west of Ogmore River. They were attempting to swim after it as it was being blown out to sea and were monitored by Porthcawl NCI on their coastal surveillance cameras. Both persons managed to make it back to shore before the lifeboat arrived on scene and the lifeboat was stood down from the incident.
