UK Coastguard tasked our volunteer crew and Porthcawl Coastguard Team to a report of a person in difficulty around the point at Rest Bay.

On arrival on scene, the coastguard team met with the first informant who advised them that the person had just made it ashore and did not require any medical assistance.

Our lifeboat returned to the station where it was rehoused and made ready for service.
