Tasked by UK Coastguard to a kayaker who had capsized between Newton and Tusker Rock and been unable to get back onto his kayak.

The Atlantic 85 lifeboat was launched on service locating the kayaker, taking him onboard the lifeboat along with his friend.

The kayakers had a means for calling for help which had allowed them to contact UK Coastguard.

3. If you fall into cold water unexpectedly, float to live
4. Check your equipment and wear a lifejacket if you’re going afloat and have a means for calling for help
