The RNLI’s annual figures for 2020 have been released this week which show that Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew:
🚤 Launched the charity’s inshore lifeboats 45 times, aiding 81 people and saving 11 lives.
🌌 just over half of the launches were in darkness.
We’re anticipating a very busy summer ahead as Covid-19 restrictions continue to ease and everyone enjoys the coast. Please visit a lifeguarded beach if you’re able to, check tide times and take a fully charged phone.
