HM Coastguard requested the launch of the charity’s Atlantic 85 Rose of the Shires following a report that a swimmer had failed to return at Ogmore By Sea. The group the swimmer had been with returned to shore, but one was unaccounted for. The swimmer was soon located safely ashore and the Atlantic 85 was stood down shortly after arriving on scene.
