Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew were tasked by HM Coastguard to investigate an object in the water at Newton Bay.
Once on scene the crew located the object in the water which was found to be the small yellow buoy. The crew were stood down from the incident by the coastguard with the call being a false alarm with good intent.
