Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew were tasked by HM Coastguard and requested to launch the D Class lifeboat to assist with an ongoing multi-agency response. The charity’s D Class inshore lifeboat Hugo Missen was launched on service at approximately 4.20am.
