The charity's Atlantic 85 lifeboat was launched on service, however was stood down straight after launching after information was received the person was found ashore. The charity's D Class lifeboat Hugo Misssen was launched on service and it was swiftly established the paddleboarder was actually a large log. The lifeboat was stood down and returned to station to be made ready for service.
