UK Coastguard tasked Porthcawl’s volunteer RNLI crew to assist with a multi-agency incident at Southerndown. The charity’s D Class lifeboat Hugo Missen was launched on service to assist with the incident. The lifeboat was stood down when its assistance was no longer required and returned back to station.
