UK Coastguard paged our volunteer crew following a report they had received of persons stuck on the cliffs near Southerndown. Once the lifeboat arrived on scene the crew established the persons were experienced climbers using ropes who required no further assistance.

Atlantic 85 launched following a report made to UK Coastguard of a jet ski which had overturned and was being towed another jet ski. Upon arriving at the scene in Newton Bay it was established all persons and the jet ski were ashore with no further assistance required.

As our Atlantic 85 was completing a tow at Newton UK Coastguard gave the crew a further tasking. The tasking was to a group of tombstoners at Ogmore Deeps which Porthcawl NCI had raised concerns for. UK Coastguard paged our volunteers who launched the D Class Lifeboat to two people and a dog cut off by the tide at the Ogmore River. They were attempting to cross the river. They were taken across to the Ogmore side to ensure they didn't risk swimming and getting swept out by the current.

Our Atlantic 85 was diverted from training exercise by UK Coastguard to assist a broken down fishing boat which had suffered engine failure near Nash Point.
