UK Coastguard requested the launch of our Atlantic 85 to a speedboat which had broken down near Kenfig Patches with four adults and four children onboard. Casualty care was administered by the crew onboard the lifeboat and then passed onto the ambulance service who transferred the casualty to hospital. No further information available at this time.

Our volunteers were paged by UK Coastguard following a report of a missing child at Dunraven Bay. The child had been missing for over an hour and was last seen in the water. Luckily the child was found safe and well shortly after we launched and we were stood down.

A small fishing boat made a call to both Porthcawl NCI and Porthcawl Marina reporting engine problems. The boat was unable to start it's engine and was over tusker rock on an outgoing tide.
