UK Coastguard paged our volunteer crew following reports of persons cut off by the tide on the Witches Point side of Dunraven Bay. Llantwit Major Coastguard also attended the incident. UK Coastguard requested the launch of our Atlantic 85 after reports of windsurfers in difficulty off Newton Point. Our volunteers were paged by UK Coastguard and launched our D Class lifeboat to assist a broken down jet ski approximately 200m offshore at Newton Beach. The jet ski had broken down with two people onboard. It was towed back to the slipway at Porthcawl Pier.

Our volunteers launched our Atlantic 85 at the request of UK Coastguard. National Coastwatch Institution - Porthcawl had been monitoring a group of four Stand Up Paddleboarders and were concerned for some of the group who appeared to be showing signs of fatigue as they battled against wind and tide approximately 200m off Newton Point.

UK Coastguard requested the launch of our Atlantic 85 to a speedboat which had broken down near Kenfig Patches with four adults and four children onboard.
