Our Atlantic 85 lifeboat (which was in the process of launching on training exercise) received an immediate tasking from UK Coastguard to assist a windsurfer in difficulty off Newton beach. The windsurfer was taken onboard the lifeboat and dropped back to the beach at Newton along with his equipment.

Our Atlantic 85 lifeboat was launched to assist a boat which was suffering engine difficulties. The boat was taken in tow towards Swansea. The tow was passed to The Mumbles Lifeboat RNLI who took the boat to Swansea Marina.

UK Coastguard requested the launch of the Atlantic 85 lifeboat to a RIB with two people onboard, which had broken down off Nash Point. The RIB was towed back by the lifeboat to Newton Bay.

Our volunteers were paged by UK Coastguard to locate and assist a yacht with two people onboard which was struggling against the tide and had lost power off Nash Point.
