Atlantic 85 launched on service in order to standby due to concerns for a despondent person. The person was safely taken into the care of South Wales Police officers shortly after launching and we were stood down.

Both lifeboats were launched on service at the request of UK Coastguard to extract a casualty from Kenfig Sands (Sker Beach) who had fallen from a horse. Heavy fog and the casualty's remote location meant extraction by lifeboat was the safest option. The casualty had suspected pelvic injuries. We met ambulance paramedics at the beach

Our volunteers were paged by UK Coastguard to assist with a casualty who had fallen from a horse at Kenfig Sands (Sker Beach). Our volunteers were first of the emergency services to arrive on scene and provided casualty care whilst awaiting the arrival of Porthcawl Coastguard Team who transported paramedics to the scene. The Coastguard
