Our volunteers launched our D Class on service to a report of 2 persons cut off by the tide at Temple Bay, Southerndown. Once on scene the crew found that there was 2 people cut off, however they were aware of the high water time and their intention was to remain at their location until

Our volunteers launched our Atlantic 85 on service this evening to assist a vessel with engine difficulties between Newton and Ogmore. The vessel was taken under tow and taken into Porthcawl marina. The D Class also launched to assist with manoeuvring the vessel through the narrow marina entrance and back onto the vessels mooring.

Both lifeboats were tasked to assist Llantwit Major Coastguard with the medical evacuation of a female with a leg injury at Monknash. The D Class extracted the casualty, friend and paramedic from the beach. The casualty was then transferred to the Atlantic 85 and brought back to the lifeboat station in Porthcawl where it was

Our volunteers launched both our lifeboats on service to reports of 2 persons cut off by the tide near Temple Bay at Southerndown. Several 999 calls were made to Milford Haven Coastguard by concerned members of the public to report the incident. The casualties were reported to be making their way up the cliff. On

Both our Atlantic 85 and D Class were launched on service to reports of a capsized vessel in the area of Monknash. Both lifeboats conducted an extensive search of the area along with Llantwit Major Coastguard team. After searching for nearly 60 minutes nothing further was found and no further reports were made regarding a

Our Atlantic 85 was launched on service to a surfer in difficulties at Rest Bay. The surfer had been swept from the main bay by a rip current and was being assisted by an RNLI lifeguard. The Atlantic 85 picked both the casualty and the lifeguard up off Box Bay.

Our Atlantic 85 was diverted whilst on training exercise to assist 2 kayakers in difficulties off Newton Point. Casualties were taken onboard the lifeboat  and transferred back to the beach at Newton.

Our volunteers launched our Atlantic 85 to a broken down 5m rib. The boat had been towed by Mumbles lifeboat to Scarweather where we took over the tow and took the boat back to Newton Bay from where it had launched.
