Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew were tasked by HM Coastguard to assist with a multi-agency search taking place along the Porthcawl coastline.

The charity’s Atlantic 85 Rose of the Shires and relief D Class Peggy D was launched on service to assist with the multi-agency search. All was resolved shortly after launching and the lifeboats were stood down from the incident.
