Both our lifeboats were tasked by UK Coastguard to persons cut off by the tide near Ogmore By Sea. The crew picked the casualties up who had lit a fire to signal their location to the lifeboats. They were handed over to our colleagues from Llantwit Major Coastguard to be transferred back to their car.
