Our volunteers were tasked by UK Coastguard and launched both lifeboats following a call to report multiple persons cut off by the tide at Southerndown. The lifeboats were launched to locate and assist the casualties.

Upon arriving on scene the lifeboats found the persons weren’t actually cut off at that point in time and with assistance from our colleagues from Llantwit Major Coastguard we were able to guide them back to the main bay.
