UK Coastguard tasked Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew following a report of a person in difficulty in the water at Ogmore-by-Sea.

Whilst the lifeboats made best speed to the scene the Coastguard received news that the person had made it safely to shore.

Both lifeboats were stood down and returned to station to be made ready for service.
