Porthcawl RNLI volunteer crew were tasked whilst on training exercise following a report of a child in difficulty in the sea at Ogmore. The Atlantic 85 crew made best speed to the location arriving to find the child was now safely ashore with their parents.

The crew were stood down and returned to station where the lifeboat was made ready for service.
