D Class lifeboat launched to investigate a report of people half way up a cliff face between Ogmore and Southerndown. Upon arrival at scene the D Class crew were able to establish the group were climbers and had abseiled down and were intending to climb back up the cliff face. With no assistance required by the group of climbers the lifeboat was stood down and returned to the lifeboat station to be made ready for service.
