UK Coastguard requested the launch of our D Class lifeboat to a report a fisherman was cut off by the tide at Sker Point.
The relief D Class lifeboat ‘Super G II’ was launched on service in calm conditions and made best speed to the location to the western side of Sker Point. The crew were able to manoeuvre the D Class up to the casualty and once safely onboard the lifeboat the casualty was transferred to the beach at Kenfig Sands (Sker Beach).
