UK coastguard tasked the volunteer crew who were out on a training exercise onboard the charity’s Atlantic 85 Rose of the Shires to a further incident following an earlier tasking.

RNLI lifeguards were assisting a kayaker in difficulty at Rhych Point. Once on scene the Atlantic 85 crew stood by until the lifeguards had got the kayaker to safety on the shore. The Atlantic 85 crew were then stood down from the incident.
