Both Porthcawl’s inshore lifeboats were launched once there was sufficient tide in order to tow and manoeuvre the vessel into the shelter of the marina entrance from the earlier launch of Porthcawl’s D Class lifeboat.

The vessel was taken in tow from The Mumbles Lifeboat and placed alongside the eastern wall as requested by the vessel’s skipper who had made arrangements with the marina staff.
