Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew were tasked by HM Coastguard following a report that two paddleboarders were possibly in difficulty near Hardy’s Bay, Ogmore by Sea.
The charity’s Atlantic 85 lifeboat Rose of the Shires made best speed to the location. Once on scene it was established the paddleboarders were safe and well and not in need of assistance.
In a coastal emergency dial 999 or 112 and ask for the Coastguard.
