Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew were tasked by HM Coastguard to assist with a multi-agency search in the Sandy Bay and Trecco Bay area. The Atlantic 85 lifeboat Rose of the Shires was launched on service and carried out a search of the area. The lifeboat was stood down after around 45 minutes when all was resolved.
