HM Coastguard tasked Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew to assist with a multi-agency search off the seafront in Porthcawl. The charity’s Atlantic 85 lifeboat Rose of the Shires was launched on service and conducted a shoreline search parallel to West Drive. The lifeboat was stood down from the incident at 10pm when police confirmed that all was resolved.
