Our volunteers launched the Atlantic 85 on service following reports of surfers in difficulties caught in a rip current at Rest Bay. Once on scene the surfers were located on the shore who had made there way out onto rocks. The lifeboat checked the area for any further persons in difficulty. Once satisfied that there were no other persons at risk the lifeboat was stood down by UK Coastguard and returned to station.
