Our volunteers launched our lifeboats following a report of persons cut off by the tide between Witches Point and Monknash. A search of the area was carried out and a group were located. The group were happy to remain as they were having a fire on the beach and in no immediate danger. They were able to leave via Whitmore Stairs and based on this information the lifeboats were stood down.
